HR Director: Corporate and Franchise
We're a fast-growing, founder-led company and we're looking for our first HR Director to shape our people practices and support our franchise expansion. You'll be a key strategic partner to our leadership team, owning all corporate HR programs and providing critical HR support to our franchise owners.
Note: This position supports both North Carolina and Georgia locations as well franchises primarily throughout the southeast USA though future locations may be added.
What You'll Do:
· Lead Corporate HR: Own and continue to build all corporate HR programs, from policy and compliance to benefits and payroll.
· Support Franchise Growth: Serve as the go-to HR expert for our franchise network, providing guidance, tools, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
· Mitigate Risk: Be our in-house authority on compliance and risk management, handling everything from internal audits (I-9, FLSA, OSHA) to litigation holds.
· Drive Strategy: Influence our culture and operations by delivering HR analytics and building scalable, people-first processes.
What You'll Bring:
· 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on expertise in multi-state payroll, benefits, and HRIS platforms.
· A proven track record of building and managing HR policies and mitigating risk in a fast-paced environment.
· The ability to influence and build strong relationships without direct authority.
· A customer-service mindset and excellent communication skills, with a talent for translating complex HR concepts into simple, actionable steps.
· A Bachelor's degree and a SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification are highly preferred.
· Willingness to travel, as needed, to conduct trainings, hold meetings, and support franchisee at their home bases.
